The paved Riverside Walk is the canyon classic that does not require a Narrows wade: the spring info guide lists it at about 2.2 miles round trip, about 1.5 hours, and about 57 feet of elevation, from the Temple of Sinawava. You still ride the shuttle in season, and you still need an entrance pass. Youth 15 and under are free when the fee is charged per person. A private vehicle pass covers the occupants. The Pa’rus Trail is paved, allows leashed pets, and is the one to choose if a stroller or a bike is part of the day. Do not put children on the Angels Landing chains. The park says fear of heights is a reason not to go up.
