Not the park. Not a tour company. Zion Canyon Tours is an independent planning website. We are not Zion National Park or the National Park Service. We do not operate tours, guide hikes, rent gear or bikes, run shuttles, sell park passes, or issue permits.

Who runs this site

Zion Canyon Tours is published by Tomahawk Designs LLC, a small independent business based in Ivins, Utah, near St. George. We write and maintain the guides ourselves. We have no ownership in, and are not endorsed by, any park agency, resort, or tour company. Contact: tomahawkdesignsllc@gmail.com.

What this site is

A free, self-serve planner for people visiting Zion National Park from Springdale, Utah. Guides cover heat, water, trails, kids, night skies, photography rules, and safety. You make your own bookings directly with the park or with partners.

How we research

  • Park rules, hours, fees, and permits come only from official pages: nps.gov/zion. If we cannot verify a fact there, we leave it out.
  • Pages with rules or fees carry a “Last checked” date. Rules change. When the park and this site disagree, believe the park.
  • Photos are freely licensed (public domain, CC0, or CC BY), taken in this park, and credited under each image.
  • We do not give medical or veterinary advice.

How the site is paid for

Some links to tours and gear are affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Details are on the affiliate disclosure. Partners set their own prices and policies; you pay them, not us.
