Day Hike kit

The core kit for a dry-trail day in Zion Canyon.

Narrows (river hike) kit

For the bottom-up Narrows from the Temple of Sinawava. Check flow and the forecast with NPS that day. The park closes the route above 150 CFS.

Desert Heat kit

The extra layer of protection for summer and hot afternoons. Hike early. Afternoon heat on exposed trails is real.

Family / Toddler kit

For short trails with little kids: carry, shade, snacks, and spares.

Dog Hike kit

Pets are allowed only on the Pa’rus Trail in Zion, on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

Sunrise & Night Photo kit

For first light, golden hour, and dark-sky shooting.

Stargazing kit

For an evening under the sky. The park is open 24 hours. NPS lists dark-sky spots such as Checkerboard Mesa, Lava Point, and Timber Creek.

E-bike Day kit

Only Class 1 pedal-assist e-bikes are allowed in Zion. E-bikes are not allowed on park shuttles.

Car & Road Trip kit

Everything the car should carry to the park and back.

Canyoneering Intro kit

NPS requires a wilderness permit for all technical canyoneering trips. Technical canyons also need skills and current beta. Gear is not training. Take a course or hire a permitted guide first.

Backpacking Overnight kit

Overnight trips in Zion need a wilderness permit from the park.
